Fictional Boyfriends # 54 and 55

It is actually pretty strange that I am putting these boys up as "dream boyfriend" material, but I can't help it. It's also strange because they are brothers.
Fred and George Weasley would be so awesome to date. I mean think about it. They joke around all the time, but I'm sure they can be serious when the situation calls for it. I'm currently rereading the Harry Potter series and I'm becoming more and more aware of how much I love both Fred and George's characters. They're two guys that I would love to hang out with. I wouldn't even mind dating either one of them! Haha!

Anyways, sorry for such a short post and sorry for taking so long on posting. My semi-busy life seems to like to get in the way of things!

Fictional Boyfriend #53

Hmmm ya know, I actually was kinda nervous to put this as one of my boyfriends on the list, but I can't help it. I really love Raf from Bras & Broomsticks... but I guess I really really started to like him in Frogs and Frenchkisses. I haven't finished the series yet, but I think it is really sweet because he actually geniunely cares for Rachel!! I mean when he still shows up to her house after she messes up the entire fashion show shows that he really does like her. I was like "Awwww" because he was seriously so hurt when Rachel accidentally stood him up the night of Spring Fling. I honestly recommend this book to any of you. It reminded me of my freshman year to a certain point and Rachel is hilarious!! It's totally fun to read (:

And then because of a love spell gone wrong, Will, Raf's older brother, loves Rachel and Rachel goes with it because her reputation is restored plus she thinks Will is a good kisser. When she runs into Raf, he gets upset almost every time, trying to just shrug it off and act like he isn't hurt, but he so is. And it is extremely cute!!! I can't wait to finish this series!!

Fictional Boyfriend #52

Before I begin this post, just know that I am going to spoil this book. I don't care. This is my blog and I think this is probably one of the best endings of a book that I have ever read in my life.

Shiver has now become one of my most favorite books of all time. I recommend it to EVERYONE. I don't care what your preference in book is... this one has left me completely blown away.

Sam is amazing. I think he is a perfect boyfriend. Haha I'm not going to lie. This guy has it all. He smells amazing, he knows the right things to say, he composes his own lyrics, he's good-looking, he reads books (HUGE plus in my book :P), etc. Also, there's the fact that he's a werewolf. Now you can be like me and be happy that these creatures don't exist. I mean I would rather have a human boyfriend will all these qualities instead of a werewolf boyfriend or vampire boyfriend because I would always be afraid to lose them. I know the human boyfriends that are semi-perfect don't happen very often, but then again, how often do werewolf and vampire boyfriends? Haha :P I'm just messing with you girls out there that love these characters.
But I'm not going to lie. Sam is amazing. Whether he's a wolf or a human.

The candy scene was probably my favorite scene in the book. Sam takes Grace, the girl he's in love with, to the candy store in his hometown and has her close her eyes and just smell the store. He tells her to think of each individual smell so that she can end up loving it all. And Grace comments on how they look like the picture perfect cute couple and I think that would be a fantasy that many of us would like. I mean seriously? Candy stores are awesome and Sam is a genius for taking her there.

Maybe I should state how Sam and Grace came to be Sam and Grace :P
So Grace was attacked by a pack of wolves (later to find out they are werewolves) and then Sam, who she figures out quickly has unique yellow eyes, doesn't let the wolves keep feeding on her. He pulls her out of there and makes the rest of the pack leave her alone. From then on, he always watches her from a distance. In the winter, he watches her as a wolf and then in the summer, he works at the bookstore and watches her when she walks in to there. He is always hoping that she will recognize his yellow eyes.

Then Sam gets shot by these hunters that are trying to lessen the wolf population of the woods and he turns into a human again... although the winter is quickly approaching. This is very out of the ordinary. Grace helps him and they end up falling even more in love with each other, but this time it's right. They both get to love each other when they are BOTH human :P Haha

I'm going to post the end of the book now. I know that is HORRIBLE, but honestly, this moved me in to thinking about how much I LOVE this book.
For those of you who have read this book, yay cuz I sure hope you love this part as much as I do.

"She froze. Perfectly still, like a deer. I kept approaching, making hesitant, careful prints in the snow, until I was out of the woods and I was standing right in front of her.
She was as silent as I was, and perfectly still. Her lower lip shook. When she blinked, three shining tears left crystal tracks on her cheeks.
She could've looked at the tiny miracles in front of her: my feet, my hands, my fingers, the shape of my shoulders beneath my jacket, my human body, but she only stared at my eyes.
The wind whipped again, through the trees, but it had no force, no power over me. The cold bit at my fingers, but they stayed fingers.
'Grace,' I said, very softly. 'Say something.'
'Sam,' she said, and I crushed her to me."

That is the most beautiful ending ever. Here I was, gearing myself up for this intense goodbye scene between girl and wolf. I mean the whole leaving prints in the snow thing had me sitting there, tears pooling in my eyes, thinking about how much I was going to hate this book since he was going to still be a wolf and the "cure" wasn't going to work. And then he takes my breath away as he approaches her, human. And you know what? I still bawled my eyes out.

Quick Sidenote /:

Sorry I haven't been updating! School has been keeping me busy and all my free time is taken away by my friends and mom who is getting married in two weeks! Please stand by (: I'm still trying to finish up Shiver... pretty pathetic that I haven't finished it yet.

Fictional Boyfriend #51

Wow I am DUMB. I never added Michael to this list from the Princess Diaries.

First off, I'd like to say that I want to remove JP from this list. After reading the tenth book, I am NOT happy I added him to my list. UGH. Okay the rest of this is going to contain major spoilers because I need to rant on J.P. and then go on and on about Michael and you would only know this stuff if you read the tenth book.

J.P. is a douchebag. He is a HUGE douchebag. I can't ... well I can believe it, but still. I CAN'T believe how he was using Mia the WHOLE time. I mean that shows dedication. But the thing that pisses me off the most is how he slept with Lilly and then lied to Mia, saying that he was saving himself for someone he loved. Um excuse me. Poor Lilly cuz she got used too and poor Mia cuz she was dumb enough to believe him.

Michael... ah Michael. He waited. He waited ALL that time just to see and be with Mia. I was in romance heaven my friends. When he was telling all that to Mia, I nearly died. It was the cutest stuff ever. Kudos Meg Cabot for once again capturing my heart with your characters. I mean the little ride in the horse buggy? So many guys would NOT do that. Haha I was almost kind of sad that "Mia" didn't write down some details about her and Michael having sex :PPP But whatever. Let's keep it PG-13 I guess :P

Oh!! Alright so this girl Michelle left me this message:

Haha. I Love Your Blog. Genius Idea Really. I Found The Link Off Of Meg Cabot's Blogs. She Mentioned You In Passing:)Anyway, I Just Thought I Would Recommend A Book To You. It's A Trilogy Really But I Actually Loved The First Book Best. (Not That The Rest Aren't Amazing.) I'm Babbling. Anyway, There Called The Mortal Instruments Trilogy. The Books Themselves Are Called City Of Bones, City Of Ashes, And City Of Glass. I Want You To Read Them Because I'm Dying For Jace To Get His Entry In Your Blog. Haha. I Dont Wanna Ruin Too Much Of The Book If You Decide To Read It So I Wont Say Anything Else:)

I'd just like to ask you Michelle if Meg Cabot specifically mentioned my blog or it was just some random link that you happened to click on that was attached to her site. I was freaking out when you read this, so PLEASE let me know (hopefully you actually read this :P).
And thank you for saying such nice things about my blog XD That made my day and I am looking into buying the Mortal Instruments Trilogy. Another girl recommended them to me, and one recommendation is always enough for me, so two is like hitting the jackpot!!

And Watching, you are my favorite person on this website :P Just to add another shout out :P

Fictional Boyfriend #50

Yay! I made it to 50! That's quite the shock.

Today I wanted to add Aihara from Kimikiss- Various Heroines. Honestly, this manga really confuses me! Aihara is the main guy from all of them, but in each different volume, he is with a different girl falling in love with them. I'm just a bit confused.

Aihara, in each volume that I've read so far, is portrayed as a kind, considerate, and compassionate young man. He is always looking out for the girl that he has his eyes set on and ends up loving her.

In the first volume, he was in love with one of his childhood friends. She was supposed to teach him how to be popular and how to get a girlfriend. They ended up kissing as practice. It was so cute because Aihara kept asking Mao (the girl) to give him kissing lessons. She eventually caught on. The twist was that it was also Mao's first time being with someone. So this proves his cuteness :P

In the second volume, Aihara helps Asuka train for soccer. She's on the team (on the boy's team actually since there wasn't a girl's soccer club at their school) and needed help perfecting a move. Asuka falls behind in her studies and Aihara helps tutor her as well as cheer her on at her game. This proves him to be considerate and helpful :P

In the third volume, Aihara accidentally kisses a girl named Mitsuki. Mitsuki is pretty much a loner because she is shy, but is absolutely amazing. Her talent in music amazes Aihara. He first heard it when he went to go apologize for kissing her (they ran into each other). They become quick friends. After confessing at dinner that Aihara had feelings for Mitsuki, he finds out that Mitsuki is pledged to be married to this other man who is wealthy. Mitsuki herself is extremely wealthy and noble, so that's why there was an arranged marriage at birth. Mitsuki also lets Aihara know that he is the only one she has feelings for though etc. At the end, Mitsuki's dad decides to not go through with the marriage... or was it the fiance saying no? I don't remember :P This proves his kindness (:

So far I am reading the fourth and can't really do a post on it since I haven't finished.
I recommend Kimikiss to those of you who love manga!!

Fictional Boyfriend #49

It has been so unbelievably hard for me to actually read and blog. It's rather depressing if I do say so myself. My aunt gave me this stack of books that includes all these classics. I'm sorta weary on reading them because I don't know how long I'll be interested in that one particular story. Plus, I've been on this site called Booksie a bunch because I'm actually writing my own stories now and putting in them what I want, which is actually a nice thing (also powerhungry since I can make sure that my main guy in the story does what I want him to and I just find it nice to be able to have him as complete perfection according to me). Besides just writing my own stories, I read some of them too from other people. I'm honestly really tempted to start writing about those characters and providing a link to get to that story if anybody would be interested to read their work. I actually have no intention of promoting them, so don't think that this is all just to get you to read something that totally sucks. I meet random people on that website and am continuously blown away by their talent.

I was also thinking about starting another blog on reviewing books because I tend to do that on my blog anyways. It seems to me that I have been getting farther and farther away from describing the guy. I don't know... it's just a thought for now.

On to the guy. Well I decided to pick Newland Archer from The Age of Innocence. I really liked this character, despite the ending. He was a complete romantic at heart. But that seemed to be the poor guy's problem... I believe that he was more in love with the dream of being in love then the actual reality of being in love.

He got engaged to this one chick, May, who he thought was just absolutely perfect for him. She had a great reputation and is actually really beautiful in a young sort of way. He was absolutely convinced that he loved that girl. Haha was he sooo wrong. Besides the fact that he fell in love with someone else, May was just boring for him. He decided to steal a kiss from her when no one was looking and she actually freaked out. Dude, I know how people didn't really kiss or do anything really affectionate back then, but PLEASE. She claimed that she was so in love with him too... Pathetic really.

The woman Archer ended up falling in love with was Ellen, this lady who escaped her husband in Europe because he continuously cheated on her. He was a count and obviously had lots of money and her whole family wanted her to stay with him to avoid scandal. But Ellen was a smart girl and did NOT go back to him... She stayed with her family and part of that family was going to be Archer. Ellen's cousin was May. Ahh that romance was short lived, although he loved her for the rest of his life. There wasn't a day that passed that he didn't think about being with Ellen. I was actually really shocked when May announced her pregnancy and that made Archer have no way out. It wasn't until she died that Archer could pursue his fantasy.

Even after he went with his now adult son to visit, he didn't go in to see her. He simply told his son to go inside and he left. It was just too hard for him I guess. I didn't really understand the ending... But I mean it was just so sad because the whole time you are rooting for him to get rid of boring old May. The sad thing was was that May knew he was in love with Ellen the whole time.

Sorry about basically giving a summary of the book again... I just can't help myself. It was a good book though.
To sum things up about Archer, he made the list because of his romantic heart and just want for a real chance at love. That's the only thing that he really wanted and would make his life complete. Then he just dealt with the loss of it. Pretty depressing.

Fictional Boyfriend #48

Next guy comes from Vampire Knight. His name is Zero (:. So I really love Zero. I know how they make Yuuki end up with Kaname, but I was so torn between the two. Zero is just like (well kinda) Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket. He doesn't show his love for Yuuki until it really is too late. He's mean to her, but really only to protect her and himself. He doesn't think he deserves to be with such a great girl and everything like that. I dunno. I'm just a huge fan of him and a lot of that has to do with Kyo since he reminds me so much of him. ^^
<3 Kyo and so that means <3 Zero because they are SO much alike!

I'm so sorry this post was short. I'm exhasuted, but noticed that my blog needed yet another update, so I updated. (: Next one should be a little longer.

PS~ Those of you who have watched the anime, isn't it sooo scary that little Level E boy's eyes? OH my gosh those people are SCARY!!

Fictional Boyfriend #47

My next post is actually based on the anime instead of the manga. I didn't read the manga after my friend told me not to since it wasn't finished because, tragically, the author died.

Itazura na Kiss proved to be an AWESOME anime, in my opinion ^^. It was pretty close to Fruits Basket (also an opinion) and is so cute etc. I'm picking the lead guy, which is pretty obvious, who's name is Naoki Irie. To tell you the truth, he is a huge jerk. He is constantly thinking he's better than other people, especially those who are stupider than he is. He's at the top of his class at almost everything (at least while he was still in high school). Kotoko, the lead girl in the story, writes a love letter for him and then decides to give it to him (during their final year of high school). He rejects it, telling her he doesn't even want it. You see, Naoki was in class A while Kotoko was in class F. They weren't really able to socialize properly because the smart kids always looked down on the ... er... academically challenged ^^.

Kotoko and her father end up moving into the Irie family's mansion because their own home collapsed. It was like Kotoko was being given a second chance.

MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

After they FINALLY marry after Naoki put Kotoko through everything he did (making her feel stupid all the time, hiding his true feelings of actually loving her and stuff), Naoki changes to become a little more loving. He is still somewhat of a jerk, but towards the end of the series he becomes an absolute sweetheart and it is clear that he just adores Kotoko. There were times that I hated him, but overall I loved him to pieces. It made me want to jump into my own anime *blushes*.

Anyways, I liked how Naoki would secretly kiss Kotoko, like a time when they were in the woods while visiting Romance Village or something (it's really only a housing community). She fell asleep reading a magazine on how to woo the boy you love and he stumbled across her and kissed her softly. She didn't ever find that out, but the watcher finds out when Naoki's younger brother blurted it out (since he saw the whole thing when he went searching for Kotoko). He blurted it out to reassure his mother that Naoki loves Kotoko and not this other girl (which was being set up as an arranged marriage). Anyways, please watch this series if you have ANY interest in its plot that I so crudely described to you. (:

Anti-list? No way would he be considered a boyfriend of your dreams!!

Do you ever have times where you hate a boy in a book (well any character, but specifically a boy since this is a BOYfriend list XD) that you are reading or you don't think the main chick character should have ended up with that doofus, but with this other guy? That happens to me pretty rarely, but when it does, I get really infuriated. It's like you want to take the author by the throat and shake him or her!! Haha maybe not that extreme, but you get the picture.

The reason I ask this is not because the book I just finished included a girl that ended up with the wrong guy. At first, I thought oh she messed up and stuff like that. But then I thought of the whole concept of the story and realized how I can't even include him on this list because he's a technical pedophile. The person I'm talking about is Humbert who stars in the book Lolita. Lolita is about a man who moves in with a widow and her daughter. He falls in love with the daughter, twelve at the time (ick!!) and does his best not to show this love in front of the mom. Well sooo the mom ends up taking her daughter to a summer camp and leaves a letter to Humbert, telling him that he either leaves her house or stays and marries her because she is hopelessly in love with him. After much consideration, guess what he does!!

He STAYES AND MARRIES HER!! How disgusting is that? The whole reason he married this poor lady is for her daughter. So then his wife finds this diary of his and ends up realizing that all he wants is her kid, which she really doesn't even like all that much, and gets so angry (you would too :P). She's so angry, in fact, that when she goes to put the mail in the mailbox across the street, she doesn't notice the car that ends up running her over and kills her.

This leaves no obsticale in Humbert's life to obtain the lovely Dolores, aka Lolita to him. So he picks her up from camp and they travel the country together. The rest, if you're interested enough, so for you to find out. Let there be a record though that Lolita seduced Humbert the first night she was out of camp. Humbert didn't resist, but it proves that she is a naughty girl. Her virginity was already gone before she seduced him and she's only twelve!! Crazy stuff let me tell you!! It all happens in the forties and fifties too.

Anyways, he was a character that I constantly felt bad for and always wanted Lolita to stop being a brat and give the man what he wants, but then that would be encouraging rape and all that stuff!!! It was really hard on my emotions, that book. Haha so you see why I can't add him to the list, but I can't even add him to a hate list, although there are some characters that I could gladly place there and be happy about it :P.

Fictional Boyfriend #46

Usually when I blog, I pick the lead guy of the story. No surprise there though because, hello, they are supposed to be the center of attention and make all girls swoon. Well this time, I decided to go against what I usually do since if I picked the lead guy of this book, I would be really picking him because other people like him. As for me? I liked him in the beginning, but got really frustrated with him towards the end and I'm not going to lie, but I was a little disappointed with the ending overall. Some people may like it, but for me, it's just not good enough.

The book that this boyfriend comes from is Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. I decided to try her out since a lot of girls love her books and I thought "why not?" and grabbed this story. It was VERY well written and evoked a lot of emotion out of me (even anger at the end :P). As for the guys she wrote about, I'm picking Jamie, the main character's (Ruby's) brother-in-law. Before I go on, I need to make sure it is VERY clear that nothing went on between Ruby and Jamie. They had a completely appropriate relationship. Anyways, Jamie is the best. He's one of my favorties on my list because, in my opinion, he is everything a guy should be (and this is talking realistically too since some of my friends have this guy's personality etc as their own fathers). For example, on Valentine's Day, he gives his wife "waves", meaning that the first wave is flowers. Then, later in the day, he gives her other gifts, all leading up to a fantastic gift towards the end of the day. *Cough cough* enough said.

He is also very passionate about his family and would put his career on the back burner if asked to. He cares deeply about his wife and tries his best to handle whatever emotion she's feeling at the time. The only way to make him truly happy is if you make his wife, Cora happy, which is how, in my opinion, a relationship should be. Sure, other things do make him happy, but he's at his best when Cora is happy.

Moral of this post: Happiness is contagious :P

Fictional Boyfriend #45

Alrighty, it's been awhile since I've posted and I apologize for that. I only had time to update my book recommendation and now I'm going to talk about the boy from there (:.

About Tamaki from Phantom Dream:

Tamaki is awesome. Haha I know I say that about most of the guys on here, but I mean there's no other way for me to describe them!! He's what is called a Shugoshi. He's also the only one left in the family, so basically the only existing one, which is actually pretty bad. He is the only one avaliable to exorcise demons out of tortured human souls, called Jaki.

He has a girlfriend named Asahi. The tragic part about their love is that Tamaki is pledged to another woman basically cuz he has to marry a woman with power in order to reproduce and have more Shugoshi. I hate that she isn't powerful, at least I don't know if she is yet. I've only read two volumes of it and am still searching for more. It's really cute though. Asahi knows that she won't be able to be with Tamaki forever; she knows that he has to marry someone else so that he can have kids that are passed the gene.

The weird thing about Tamaki is that he's actually his grandfather's kid. He was always told that his mother's husband was his father. But his supposed "dad" was too weak to carry the Shugoshi gene that his own father would have passed down from him. So the guy that Tamaki always known as his grandfather was actually his dad. Tamaki's mom was actually a jaki, so he has both jaki and shugoshi blood in him, causing him to be very dangerous both physically and mentally. He could go insane at any moment. The only thing that really keeps him sane is Asahi. She's amazing and I sort of want to be just like her since she is so admirable.

That was about Tamaki from Phantom Dream (: I recommend it to anyone and everyone :D. It's by Natsuki Takaya, one of my most favorite authors. She's the most amazing cuz she thinks up all these great characters and stories.

Fictional Boyfriend #44

I just finished Being Nikki today and am still totally into Meg Cabot's writing. She is SO talented!! Anyways, today's boyfriend comes from that book. His name is Christopher. In Airhead, he made me so mad, even though I liked him. He was being so hard-headed towards everything. But then in Being Nikki, everything changed. When he found out that Nikki was really Emerson, I was so excited. It was amazing. Then stupid Brandon messed everything out.

The good news is that Meg Cabot will make sure everything ends smoothly. I just wish that the end of Being Nikki wasn't such a cliff-hanger.

Sorry for making this post so short... I have summer homework that I should be doing :P.

Fictional Boyfriend #43

I really enjoyed The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith and decided to give her other series Night World a chance... Night World isn't really a series that you would think. Ya know how usually in series it's just a continuation of the book before? Well basically each book is made up of three stories that have to do with creatures who broke the rules of Night World, but the characters in each story are different. They may be mentioned in one of the other stories, but otherwise it is not a continuation. Hmmm I wonder if that is a good enough explanation :/.

Anyways, I decided to pick a guy from Night World: Secret Vampire named James. He befriended Poppy when they were in like Kindergarten and were best friends ever since. He always made it clear to Poppy though that they were just friends. When they got into their teens, James started dating girls and would normally have like seven girlfriends a year or something to that ridiculous amount. Meanwhile, Poppy would sit on the sidelines, jealous of each girl that got the chance to go out with him, but also falling deeper and deeper in love with him with each passing day.

During the summer between Junior and Senior year at high school, Poppy is diagnosed with terminal cancer and is pretty much awaiting her death. James then decides to show Poppy his true feelings for her as well as show her a way to escape death.

James is a vampire if you haven't already figured it out. He had that many girlfriends so that he could feed off of them until he felt a weak bond forming with them. Then he would break up with them. He used compulsion to make them forget that he even fed off of them in the first place. He never went out with Poppy because he didn't want her to be used like that. He just loved her too much. It was actually rather romantic.

Thankfully, Poppy gets changed into a vampire by the exchanging of blood. It's all rather facisnating. Now off to read more of that book so I can add more characters to this list :D

Fictional Boyfriend #42

Alright, so I am a fan of Melissa Kantor's writing. I enjoyed The Breakup Bible and If I Have A Wicked Stepmother, Where's My Prince?. I read her new book, Girlfriend Material, and absolutely loved it! Before I talk about Adam, the boyfriend of the day, I just want to say a few things about the book.

First of all, I was really happy how Kantor talked about Ernest Hemingway's writing. I wasn't a fan of Old Man and the Sea, but I have done a report on him and know his life etc and know what influenced which piece of writing. So that was an interesting parallel...

Anyways!! Adam is my pick for today. He isn't all that amazing, let me tell you :P The whole break thing he took with his girlfriend and didn't tell Kate about it at all? That was messed up. But I mean if you just consider how great he is withouth that little factor, it all adds up. It was pretty cool how he went all the way to New Hampshire, I think that's where his girlfriend was, but anyways I liked how he wanted to fix it with Kate, so he went all the way there to break up with his girlfriend because he thought it too cold over phone. That part was awesome! So many guys would love to take the easy way out, as would girls to be perfectly honest. I decided that I really liked him after that. It shows how gentlemanly he is and really how much he cares about things.

The only catch? Unless Kate and her mom move to the east coast, which was a chance, Kate and Adam will have a difficult time seeing each other, with Kate living in Utah and all. Oh well, it made a nice story. Haha until next time...

P.S.~ I finsihed Fragile Eternity and I don't know what to make of it... I mean I know that there are more books to come, but I'm scared to figure this all out. I kinda like Keenan and Aislinn together for some reason even though he is kind of a jerk... I don't like it when Keenan and Donia get all lovey dovey... I feel like he is cheating on Aislinn, even though he is not. And the whole mother thing between Sorcha and Seth? A tad bit disturbing...

Fictional Boyfriend #41

It's been really sad lately. Every book I pick up, I end up putting right back down because I just don't want to read. Now if you know me, then that is so unlike me to feel that way. Books, to me, are a way to keep my sanity as well as live a life with more excitement. It's a way to tell the world to shut up for a few seconds because life isn't headed in a direction you want, or at least, not headed in the right way. Given the fact that I've had finals this week, that's probably a reason why I haven't picked up a book for a few weeks. Like I said, everytime I tried, I failed.

Anyways, so I don't know about you, but I like to really get into a book because of the awesome lives some of the characters live. Now there is a downside to that "getting involved" thing. You feel the pain that the character feels as well as grief, depression, etc. Haha, when I was reading the In or Out Series, my emotions were on a rollercoaster. So much drama happening within like a MONTH!!!

I was really excited to start this series because the girls and guys were my age and everything. Then it just turned into absolute chaos. I usually hate books where true friendships are ruined by a girl who wants to be popular and stuff. It makes me want to smack them. Haha anyways, so I was reading this and Marnie and Nola are both going at it. I mean they are just vicious! But we aren't here to discuss how ridiculous this all was. I was more interested in talking about a guy for this list that I don't remember posting and I even CHECKED TWICE to see if I did and I don't think I did.

So this is about Matt and even though I actually really really really liked Ian a LOT more than Matt, it's probably better that Nola was with someone her own age 0_o. Haha but like awww it was so cute how Matt showed up at the dance at the end of Friends Close, Enemies Closer and he was so amazing etc. Haha I'm just randomly going on and on about how cute that moment was. But one problem. Who says this and makes it sound actually CUTE? huh? "What's so funny, beautiful girl in the amazing dress?"

You know what, I change my mind. This is about Ian. Because guess what. I like him more. He was so awesome kissing Nola when they were both frustrated and so much tension in the air. Now THAT is a couple that could have made it. I cried when he left. Then stupid Matt decided he liked Nola now after ditching his freak-o girlfriend... that won't be a very long fling. Hahaha as you can tell, I'm just getting mad at the series. For reals though, it's a cute series if you have time and money to read it :P
GO IAN!!

Fictional Boyfriend #40

Yay!! Hit 40!!

So today's boy/man is also from Ink Exchange. His name is Irial :D. I really loved this character. Not many people can come along and make you totally change the way you are living, the way you think, and the way you feel. Well, Leslie did just that to Irial. He was 1000000% evil. No joke. Then Leslie gets his symbol as her tattoo and he's totally bonded to her. That does not mean that he has to love her or be in love with her. It just meant that they shared a bond that would make it so that she could feed his royal court.
He never expected to fall in love with Leslie and want to give her whatever she wanted.
The thing that appealed to me was that this totally horrible guy turned almost all the way around because of a girl... she changed him for the good. Also, his evil charm does appeal too :P I mean he's a bad boy and well as much as I try to fight the cliche of that being attractive, in books, I can't fight it. He's too loveable, even though at times he would make my skin crawl...

Hahah three cheers for Irial!! Hopefully he'll find someone else... well maybe not. Because even though I like the guy, I am a loyal member of the Summer Court :P

I haven't read Fragile Eternity yet, so don't spoil anything for me!! (hahah like how I spoil things for you :P)

PS~ sorry for any mistakes I made!! Too lazy to correct :D

Fictional Boyfriend #39

Yay!! I'm updating!!
Okay so my new person is Niall from Ink Exchange. He's actually from Wicked Lovely too, but we don't get to see the boyfriend potiential in him during that book.

So Niall...
He's really a being that belongs in the Dark Court, but works for the Summer Court after fleeing from the Dark Court. Anyways, he is assigned to Leslie, the Summer Queen, Aislinn's best friend, to watch and protect. The bad news is that Leslie gets an ink exchange, which is basically a tattoo that ties her to one of the members of the Dark Court which happens to be Irial, the King of the Dark Court.
This isn't really the important part since we are really just here to talk about Niall... this mini background was just so you understood that he was once a part of a evil court and that those ways are still in him, even though he decided to go to the Summer Court.
He got involved with Leslie, as in he began to drop his glamour and be around Leslie and sure enough the two of them got together. The bad parts that came to this? 1) Niall has a highly addictive touch. Any mortal that gets intimate with him (just kissing can be bad as well as hugging), they begin to become addicted to his touch. 2) Leslie, through the ink exchange, actually belongs to Irial because she chose his symbol to be tattooed on to her skin.

Throughout the story you can really tell that Niall really does love Leslie and is so torn at what to do. He doesn't want to get her too involved with his world because of the danger, but he wants her for himself. His decision in the end actually shocked me (for those who've read this, I'm talking about the decision he made about the courts etc) and really proved that he wasn't just missing torturing mortals, but he really did love Leslie.

PS~ If you see any grammatical errors, I apologize... I'm just too lazy to correct this whole thing :P

Fictional Boyfriend #38

Sooo I don't know how many of you know this, but I'm a pretty big Meg Cabot fan. She is one of the most represented authors on my bookcase. Anyways, I read this book that was by "Princess Mia" called Ransom My Heart. I was deeply enthralled by this book. I mean it was nothing that I would have expected and I found myself laughing so hard. I hadn't laughed in a long time before reading this book. It seriously brought me great joy.
It's about this girl in 1291 that finds this man to ransom for money so that her sister will have a dowry so she can marry this man that she so-called "loves" (he turns out to be the biggest D-bag ever). Anyways, so Finnula, the girl who is helping out her sister, ends up falling in love with Hugo, or at the time she knows him as Sir Hugh, the man she holds for ransom. It was one of the best books I've read all year that's all by itself (meaning that it isn't part of the series).
Anyways I wanted to add Hugo because even though he's arrogant and whatnot (whatnot being all the girls hes "bedded") but I like to think of how he is with Finnula and how cute and fun everything seems to be. Haha it made me want to get married :P

Fictional Boyfriend #37

Finished with Hunted (:
Very interesting story etc. I was entertained pretty much the whole time. I ended up really liking Stark! I really like how he ended up getting marked too. The arrows thing is pretty darn cool. He seems like a pretty okay guy and I also really liked the fact that he chose to be good and swore himself to Zoey. Pretty good dude... didn't like that he almost killed himself though. That was not cool :P
I'm having to agree with a lot of people though on a few things. I'm not liking how Zoey seems to get all the choice guys. Now that is pretty annoying and unrealistic. The other thing is that Erik is WAY too controlling and stuff. He can be a sweet guy when he wants to be, but I mean he asks for too much and is trying to take hold of Zoey's life and dictate how she lives. So NOT cool!!!

Finished with Untamed

Alright so I finished Untamed today and it was very very interesting.
I found out that I totally liked Stark even though he was only in the book for a little bit. When he died, I practically cried since I couldn't believe that something so good was dying already! So yeah I guess I like him... A lot of my friends like him, but I mean they've already finished Hunted so I'm hoping I get to know him more in that book.
Ugh Neferet makes me sick!!
And then I have to post about Erik and Heath. So Erik still gets on my nerves. I mean hello, he's overly pyscho to me. First he acts all hatin' towards Zoey, but then he practically makes out with her on stage. His moodswings give me whiplash. Then it broke my heart when Heath and Zoey talked at that chicken place. I wanted him to ask to reImprint or something, but knew of course that he wouldn't ever offer that because of the pain he went through. Poor guy ): That's why I don't even know if I really like Zoey all that much anymore. It seems as if she isn't content with just one guy... she always has to have a backup it seems like. Oh well, I still feel like I'm her when I read the books, which also means that I feel disgusted when she acts like a ho :P

More on Heath, Less on Erik, Rant on Loren!

HA! Finished Chosen (:
No additions to the list today, but a nice, healthy dicussion of House of the Night since I nearly had a heart attack reading Chosen.
Remember: I am only on Chosen!! I don't know certain characters... yet, so my opinions are still subject to change (:
First is Heath:
He is still my favorite. I began to really like him because Erik began to get overly jealous and well Loren was never good news in my book. Also, something about Heath is just so sweet. I dunno if that was the Imprint talking through him or what, but he would do anything for Zoey. It's a huge change from being a total stoner etc to sober and awesome. My eyes began to water when their bond was broken. When he cried out to Zoey and she ignored him... I was stunned. All I could think about was Heath and his pain. ):
Second is Erik:
Okay so I guess I don't blame the guy too much. I mean he did catch Zoey screwing Loren, but I mean when he realized there was more to it than he thought there was (like how Neferet is evil) and then he went and got all nasty even after that realization, that cut off anything I really felt for the guy. I mean really, the main reason they broke up was because of Loren and that was because Loren used his persuasiveness to get Zoey to totally give in to him, so it is sooo not totally Zoey's fault (even though she did let it happen). Erik could be a little more sympathetic (and so could her friends for that matter... I mean really, all Zoey had to tell them was that they couldn't know because of Neferet. I mean she didn't want Neferet finding out how much she knew and remembered, so she couldn't tell them everything!! She could have told them about Loren and stuff cuz they may have guided her away, but ugh whatever). Erik is just a cute face and really over jealous. That was a turn off too. I wouldn't mind if they somehow got back together after everything was explained, but I really doubt that will happen unless he realizes how much he actually loves Zoey (if he loves her at all).
Thirdly Loren:
Wow, I don't even know where to begin! I KNEW this guy was bad news from the start!! I am so not someone who likes to take chances, especially risky ones, so that's probably why I wasn't really into him even fromt he beginning when he came off as someone to like. I don't like to break the rules. Then I began to wonder if he was being for real because of the whole Imprint thing. I mean I didn't know what he was up to, but I was beginning to let him have more of a chance because of that. But I didn't totally be okay with it, so the good news is that I couldn't get hurt when he screwed Zoey over! Ugh that pissed me off that he "popped her cherry". I mean really. Your virginity is a big deal... so a complete asshole like that taking it? Talk about so UNspecial. That's something that made me angry over all. I'm sorry to say that he almost deserved to die! I dunno if he deserved to be killed that brutally, but I do think that that guy needed to be taught a lesson.... Just hearing him and Neferet made my skin crawl. Adults can be such freaks sometimes :P Even vampyres.

Well, those are my opinions on those three. I'm now in the process of trying to get to a bookstore to buy Untamed so that I can continue my journey in Zoey Redbird's life. This will get interesting :P

Merry meet and merry part and merry meet again!

Fictional Boyfriend #36

Okay so yeah. Two of you caught me... I really only finished Betrayed a few days ago.
Alright, so I'll tell you what... I'll write about the guys I like from each book of that series that way it makes sense whether or not I like them XD
Today, I am adding Heath. At first, I really didn't like him because of him being drunk and high all the time. Then I read Betrayed and was like wow, I love Heath all of a sudden!! What's that all about!! I guess I like him a lot now because he is the kind of guy I'd be attracted to. Huh. I don't know if that is a good thing or if it's bad :D
I am just starting Chosen now, so my opinions may change.
My opinion on Erik hasn't changed... yet because he was only in Betrayed for a little tiny bit, so yeah. You guys are making me nervous... I don't want him to leave, but it would be better to get him out of the picture since I totally love Heath now :P
Haha
I'll post after I'm done with Chosen (:

Fictional Boyfriend #35

So I finally started the series The House of the Night. Let me just say, those books are AMAZING. I'm guessing that those of you that have already read this series know exactly what boy I'm going to put on here.
Erik Night
He really is amazing. I mean I know he's your average popular boy that is totally hot, etc, but I like how he really is down to earth and really seems to like Zoey. She gets a lot of attention now because she's the leader of the Dark Daughters and is in training to be a High Priestess and has an affirmity for all five elements, but he liked her even before she was the popular girl at school... and she's not popular because she's rich or textbook beautiful (meaning Barbie beautiful) or because she bullies people. No. She's all about justice etc and that's why Erik totally likes her. I dunno what else to say about him. I mean hes like the most perfect thing ever :P... and he's a vampyre, so it makes everything even better!!

Fictional Boyfriend #33 and #34

Hey everyone who reads this! I just wanted to say hi since I haven't posted in a long time, but I have finally finished Eclipse, which I decided to reread and that took my forever!! Then I got to finally start and finish the book Wicked from the Pretty Little Liars series. This is where numbers 33 and 34 come from.
Number 33 is Issac, Emily's boyfriend. Issac is amazing. He has that mysterious quality, but is totally fun loving. I mean he has to be amazing to take lesbian Emily and have her like him! She was all afraid of him not wanting to be her boyfriend anymore because of her past, but he said he was fine with it. I sure hope nothing splits those two apart, but you never know. A is one tough stalker and they are a total jerk. Ugh it is so frustrating reading those books sometimes. Anyways, Issac also sings and will tell Emily songs that are on his mind and they are always meaningful ones in her life. It's really sweet. He's also emo so that's a major plus.
Number 34 is Andrew, Spencer's new love interest!! He's totally awesome. He is really really really smart, but also good looking. He's competitive in academics, but isn't one of those nerds. I could see him getting annoying, but that one con is outweighed by a bunch of pros. I mean, Spencer is under a lot of pressure from everyone because of her stealing her sister's paper and almost getting the Golden Orchard thing or whatever and now they all look down on her because she cheated. Andrew looks passed all those things and actually forgets about them because of how much he likes Spencer. It's very admirable =)

Fictional Boyfriend #32

Well I guess I can begin by apologizing that I haven't been so consistent with updating this blog. It's pretty pathetic actually. My main excuse: high school. Right now, my brain doesn't want to review information for my finals, so I'm going to start winding it down with a boyfriend who might be ideal for someone out there in this world =P. His name is Eric and he comes from Kissing Snowflakes. Honestly, I remember very little about this book. I just know that he was a very sensitive guy, which majority of girls want in a guy (that cute sensitive side). It's cute how he draws Sam and makes her look beautiful and she is amazed at it. Then she's like wow did I really look like that? And he answered her with a "You did to me." I'm sure many girls would just absoultely love to here that =). It's awesome how women write books for us, giving us an outline of what we want in a guy =P. Sucks for guys though... they have to live up to our expectations =P
